Add assets one at a time

Building a portfolio by hand, or just exploring? Search for each stock, ETF, crypto, or metal and add it with its share count, one row at a time.

  1. 1

    Open “Search & add”

In onboarding or on your Portfolio page, choose Search & add.

  2. 2

    Search for an asset

Start typing a name or ticker (for example AAPL, Bitcoin, or Gold) and pick the match from the dropdown.

  3. 3

    Enter shares and cost basis

Add your share count and your cost per share. Cost basis is what powers profit/loss, total return, and the daily/total P&L columns across your dashboard. Add it for every holding to get the full picture (without it, those figures stay blank for that position).

  4. 4

    Add more, then analyze

Use “Add asset” for each holding (or “Use example portfolio” to explore with sample data), then run your analysis.
