Import your portfolio from your broker

Get your holdings into Moneyta in minutes. Export a CSV or Excel from your broker, snap a screenshot, or add assets by hand. Here's exactly where to find the export for the major brokers.

  1. 1

Export your holdings (CSV or Excel)

Most brokers let you download your positions in a couple of clicks. Fidelity: Positions → Download. Charles Schwab: Accounts → Positions → Export. Vanguard: My Accounts → Holdings → Download. E*TRADE: Portfolios → Download / Export. Merrill: Holdings → Export. Save the CSV or Excel file, then upload it in a moment.

  2. 2

    No export? Take a screenshot

If your broker has no export (like Robinhood), just take a screenshot of your holdings screen. This works for any app, including Acorns, Webull, and SoFi. Moneyta reads the positions straight from the image.

  3. 3

Or add assets one at a time

Only have a few holdings, or just exploring for learning? Use Search & add to type each ticker, its share count, and an optional cost basis, one row at a time. No file needed.

  4. 4

    Import into Moneyta

In onboarding or on your Portfolio page, choose how to add holdings: paste a list, import your CSV/Excel/screenshot, or search & add. Moneyta resolves each ticker's name and live price and flags anything it can't match so you can fix it in one click.

  5. 5

    Include your cost basis

Whichever method you use, include a cost basis (what you paid per share) for each holding. It's what powers profit/loss, total return, and the daily/total P&L columns on your dashboard. Holdings without it still show value, but those return figures stay blank.

For enterprises: We will provide automated, direct broker integration for Enterprise customers. For everyone else, exporting or screenshotting your holdings keeps Moneyta secure (no third party ever holds your broker login), private, and affordable, and it works with every broker.
