Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026 · Effective: September 7, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Moneyta platform (“Service”), operated by DataExpansed LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Connecticut limited liability company with its principal place of business at 6 Landmark Square, 4th Floor, Stamford, CT 06901, USA. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Portions of the Service are available without an account. By accessing any page of the Service you agree to these Terms; all disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual-property provisions apply equally to visitors without accounts.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Moneyta. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
2. Description of Service
Moneyta is a portfolio analytics platform that provides health scoring, diversification analysis, AI-powered observations, real-time alerts, and a stock idea evaluator. The Service is designed to help individual investors understand their portfolio composition and risk characteristics.
3. Not Investment Advice: Important Disclaimer
Moneyta is an educational and analytical tool. It is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, or fiduciary. Nothing provided by the Service, including health scores, observations, AI-generated insights, stock idea evaluations, research reports, signals, base rates, screens, manager track records, or any other content, constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice.
All research and statistical content is an impersonal publication provided to all readers alike, without regard to any person's individual circumstances. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security. Historical statistics, including base rates and track records, describe the past and are not predictions.
AI-generated observations and analyses are produced by artificial intelligence (using third-party AI services) and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. AI-generated content is clearly labeled within the application. Certain figures, including signal base rates and manager track records, are computed by Moneyta from public filings and market data and may contain errors; cited source filings should be treated as authoritative over any derived figure.
You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. You should consult with a qualified financial advisor, accountant, or attorney before making any investment decisions. Past performance of any portfolio, asset, or strategy does not guarantee future results. All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of principal.
The health scores, observations, and simulations provided by Moneyta are for educational and informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment decision.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account through our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
Moneyta offers paid subscription plans (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) billed monthly or annually. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; card numbers never touch our servers. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.
Pricing. Current pricing is available at moneyta.co/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Upgrades and downgrades. You may change your plan at any time from your Account page. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
7-day free trial. New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. You provide a payment method when you subscribe, but you are not charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, whether from your Account page or by contacting us at [email protected], you will not be charged. Trial length may differ for beta members redeeming an invite code.
Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. The free trial is the way to evaluate the Service before you are charged. If you believe you were billed in error, contact [email protected] and we will review and correct billing errors.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your plan features until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to an unpaid state and feature access is restricted. Your account data is retained while your account exists, and resubscribing restores full access to it. Your data is permanently deleted only if you delete your account, as described in Section 9.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems connected to the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Service without our prior written consent
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service unless on an Enterprise plan with a separate agreement
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Upload malicious content, including viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Misrepresent Moneyta’s outputs as professional financial advice to third parties
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, algorithms, scoring methodology, text, graphics, logos, and all other content, is the property of DataExpansed LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your data. You retain all ownership rights to the portfolio data you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your portfolio holdings, positions, or any other data you submit.
AI-generated content. Health scores, observations, verdicts, and other AI-generated outputs are produced by the Service for your personal use. You may share these outputs (e.g., via social sharing features) but may not represent them as professional financial advice.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
No sale of your data. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or cross-context behavioral profiling. The only third parties that process your data are the service providers required to operate the platform (authentication, payments, transactional email, cloud hosting, AI analysis, market data), each of which is described in the Privacy Policy.
Vault encryption.Items you store in your Moneyta Vault (jewelry, watches, precious metals, gemstones) are encrypted with a key derived from a PIN that you choose and that we never store. When you unlock the Vault, your PIN is transmitted over TLS and used only in server memory to derive the key; neither your PIN nor the derived keys are written to disk, so your Vault data cannot be read from our database without your PIN. To make forgotten-PIN recovery possible, a copy of your Vault's data key is additionally sealed in a hardware security module; recovery requires a one-time code sent to your account email, is single-use and time-limited, and is audit-logged. Because this recovery path exists, the Vault is not zero-knowledge. It is a deliberate trade-off so that a forgotten PIN does not mean permanent loss of your Vault data.
AI data processing. Portfolio data is sent to our third-party AI provider to generate observations and analyses. This data is not used to train AI models and is retained by the AI provider for a limited period under its API data-usage policy before permanent deletion. We scrub personally identifiable information (PII) before sending data to external AI services. Vault contents are never sent to AI providers.
Third-party AI assistant connections. The Service offers an optional connector, based on the Model Context Protocol (“MCP”), that lets you link your account to third-party AI assistants that support that protocol. Enabling it is your choice and requires your explicit OAuth authorization; the access granted is read-only and you may revoke it at any time. When you direct a connected assistant to use your data, we transmit read-only account information to that assistant at your request; the connector cannot trade, move money, or change your data, and never exposes your encrypted Vault. Your use of any third-party assistant is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, not these Terms. You are solely responsible for the assistants you connect, the access you grant, and any actions taken based on their responses. Moneyta is not responsible for third-party assistants, or for your data once it has been delivered to them at your request.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. Account deletion is a two-step process: (1) a soft delete with a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate by signing in, and (2) permanent deletion of your account data after 30 days, including portfolios, positions, analyses, alerts, and Vault items.
Limited records are retained after deletion where the law requires it: in particular, administrative audit records are kept for the retention period required by applicable recordkeeping regulations, and payment records are retained by our payment processor under its own legal obligations. Deletion requests under applicable privacy law are honored in full; if you believe any of your information remains after deletion, contact [email protected] and we will remove it.
Upon permanent deletion, any active subscription will be canceled and your authentication account will be removed. Encrypted data becomes unrecoverable after deletion.
10. Data Portability
The Service provides a data export feature, available on eligible plans, that compiles your core information, including portfolios, positions, analyses, and alerts, into a downloadable format. Export requests are limited to one per 24-hour period.
Separately from the in-app feature, you may request a copy of your personal information at any time, on any plan and at no charge, by contacting [email protected]. Privacy rights requests are described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. If we make material changes that adversely affect your use, we will provide reasonable notice via email or in-app notification.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DataExpansed LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of investment returns, or financial losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You acknowledge that: (a) health scores and observations are algorithmic outputs that may not reflect actual portfolio risk; (b) market data may be delayed or inaccurate; (c) AI-generated content may contain errors; and (d) past analysis does not predict future results. You assume all risk associated with acting on information provided by the Service.
Third-party AI assistants and connectors. If you connect the Service to a third-party AI assistant or other client (for example, via the Model Context Protocol), you do so at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataExpansed LLC is not liable for: (a) the acts, omissions, availability, security, or output of any third-party assistant or client; (b) any storage, use, disclosure, or loss of your data after it has been delivered to a third party at your request; (c) the accuracy or completeness of any response a third-party assistant generates using your data; or (d) any decision or action you or any other person takes based on such responses. Your relationship with any third-party assistant is solely between you and that provider.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will meet your specific requirements; (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (c) the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable; or (d) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
14. Public Data, Third-Party Data, and Corrections
Market data, company profiles, and analyst consensus are supplied by third-party providers under license and are provided “as is”; Moneyta and its providers disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to the fullest extent permitted by law. SEC filing data is public-domain material republished with the transformations described at /learn/where-our-data-comes-from.
The Service displays names and titles of executives and investment-adviser personnel drawn from public regulatory filings and licensed company profiles, and links to third-party search services rather than storing or displaying scraped personal profiles.
Corrections: if you believe any figure or claim on the Service is inaccurate, contact [email protected] with the page URL and the basis for correction. We review correction requests promptly, correct or annotate verified errors, and record the correction. This process does not create liability for the original publication.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DataExpansed LLCand its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party’s rights; or (d) investment decisions you make based on information from the Service.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in the English language. The arbitration shall take place in Connecticut or remotely at the mutual agreement of the parties.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
