You shouldn't need a computer science degree to know your financial information is safe. Here's how we protect it, in plain English.
We never sell your data
Moneyta makes money one way: subscriptions. Not by selling your information, not by showing you ads, and not by sharing what you own with marketers or data brokers. What's in your account is nobody's business but yours.
We can never touch your money
Moneyta is a viewing and record-keeping tool. We don't hold your money, and we can't buy, sell, or move anything. If you connect your brokerage, the connection is read-only: your broker password never touches Moneyta, and the link can only look, never act.
Everything is encrypted, everywhere
Think of your data as traveling in a sealed envelope and being stored in a locked safe. It's scrambled while it moves between your device and our servers, and it stays scrambled where it's stored, using the same encryption standards banks rely on. The most sensitive details get an extra layer of scrambling on top.
Your Vault has its own PIN
The Vault, where you keep jewelry, watches, precious metals and other valuables, is locked with a PIN that only you know. We never store your PIN, so a locked Vault can't be read from our systems, not even by us. If you ever forget your PIN, there's a careful recovery process that confirms it's really you through your email, and every recovery is recorded. That way a forgotten PIN never means your records are gone forever.
We never see your card number
Payments are handled by Stripe, the same payment company trusted by millions of businesses. Your card details go directly to them and are never stored, seen, or handled by Moneyta.
