Three Ways to Look at One Portfolio

Your Moneyta score now has two companions: an index-investor score and an MPT score. Both are free on every plan, both publish their whole method, and both show you exactly how they got your number.

Three score cards side by side: the Moneyta score, the index-investor score and the MPT score, the last two marked Open method.
The short version: Next to your Moneyta score you now see two open scores. The index-investor score asks whether your portfolio follows the low-cost, buy-the-market approach. The MPT score asks how well your holdings work together for the risk you take. Both are free, both publish every weight, and both let you download the calculation.

One number cannot describe a portfolio. A portfolio can be well diversified and expensive, cheap and badly allocated, calm and concentrated. The Moneyta score is our own read on structure and risk, and it stays our method. The two new scores are different on purpose: each comes from a public tradition of investing, and each shows its work in full.

Why open methods

A score you cannot check is a score you have to trust. For the two new scores we publish every factor, weight and cut-off, and every score opens into a walkthrough of your own calculation, step by step, with the inputs and their dates. If you think a number is wrong, you can find the step where you disagree.

Where you see them

  • On your dashboard, beside the Moneyta score, with the factors that drove each one.
  • In test a trade, before and after the trade you are considering.
  • In a shadow book, before and after using the blend as your stock sleeve.
  • In a note in your notifications when a score moves five points or more, with the factor that moved it.

Insight, not advice: The scores describe your portfolio against published approaches. None of them tells you what to buy or sell.
Try it on Gold: Every new Moneyta account starts with 14 days of Gold, with every feature on and no credit card: enough time to see all three views of your own portfolio. When the two weeks end, the account moves to Free with everything you added kept, unless you choose a plan.
A note on what Moneyta is: Moneyta provides educational analytics about your portfolio's structure: insight, not advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All screenshots show synthetic demo data.
